Hope for the future?

There are signs of hope for our members involved in the nature tourism industry. Both our guides and those providing accommodation might take heart from a recent survey canvassing views from tourism experts.

According to latest research, the tourism sector most likely to recover the quickest is rural and nature tourism. It is thought this is likely to reflect a change in behaviour since the covid-19 pandemic, with more people wanting holidays away from overcrowding and seek security from contact with nature.

So we are hopeful, a little optimistic too, for our Society guides and accommodation. Let us hope the autumn sees a return to Spain of visiting nature lovers.
