House Bunting in Tarifa. The bird was originally found by ABS member Juan Miguel Gonzalez Perea on 7th September and is still present as at 10/09. Amazing given how close we are to the Moroccan population in Tangier, that sightings here are very rare. Wouldn’t it be great if it goes the same way as Laughing Dove and takes up residence. Let’s hope more will join our solitary visitor. The bird is in the old town of Tarifa.

Common Bulbul is still present and of course successfully bred in the Tarifa area. Another reason why you should visit the old town in Tarifa.
