An Extra Member’s Field Meeting
Attendance of our Field Meetings are so well supported by our members and it is inspiring to have so many join us on our monthly forays into various areas of our region.

This made the extra effort of organizing another September meeting very worthwhile. Thank you one and all for attending.
Our Next Field Meeting
We are meeting in the Tarifa area for our annual migration watch for autumn birds returning to Africa to spend their winter. Of course we will also make time to visit additional sites such as La Janda. So do register if you intend to join us
Our October Field Meeting
We will be visiting the famous wetland area on the eastern side of the National Park Doñana, it promises to be a well attended meeting, so do please register if you want to reserve your place for this exciting day. For further details and registration.
Our November Field Meeting
NEW. We will be visiting some birding areas in the province of Cordoba for the very first time under the excellent guiding of our professional guide Antonio Pestana. Antonio is finalizing plans for the day, but it seems likely we will visit the canyon of the Bailon’s River in Zuheros and then go to Cabra’s Saws in the afternoon. Be sure to keep an eye on the meeting updates on the event day.
Our December Field Meeting
Yes it is that time to start thinking about our annual Christmas Member’s Lunch. Of course preceded by an excursion into the mountains of the Serranía de Ronda. It is important to register for this event early, as we need to reserve spaces for the lunch. Mountain birds and followed by a social and substantial lunch, always a popular and great day. For further details please see the event.
