Information about the meeting,
Birdwatching in Llanos de Libar Valley, near Montejaque with a break to attend our yearly Ordinary General Meeting lead by the ABS Chairman John Brooks. This is our yearly financial meeting to report about the financial situation in 2023 and to confirm our budget for 2024 (a full agenda will appear on our website in the near future and linked to via our newsletter in November 2023).  For those interested we will further explore the area in the afternoon for some great birding.

Clothing and Food
It is January so it could be cold on the famous birding track up at Llanos de Libar. Lunch will be taken at Venta La Vega together with the OGM.

Possible birds,
Griffon Vulture, Rock Sparrow, Black Wheatear, Blue Rock Thrush, Ring Ouzel, Redwing and many others. Wintering birds can be good in a mixture of habitats we will pass through on this track in Llanos de Libar and in the Rio Guadiaro valley.

Notes:
1. We will ask a member to write a trip report for our experiences of the day.

2. Members can invite guests, but they must join the Society on the day for insurance purposes.

3. We will ask members in attendance to drop a voluntary micro-contribution in a collection box to help support a nominated ABS conservation project.
