Information about the meeting
We will be travelling around the Salinas at the Cabo de Gata. After lunch we will visit some other sites in the area.
Accommodation in the area
Check the ABS web site for more details of accommodation in the area.
Clothing and Food
It could be chilly so bring warm clothes you can always take them off, but if you don’t have them you could freeze. Lunch is back to El Barquero.
Possible birds
It’s autumn migration time so we should see a nice range of waders and passerines with maybe a bonus of some late raptors.
Notes:
1. We will ask a member to write a trip report for our experiences of the day.
2. Members can invite guests, but they must join the Society on the day for insurance purposes.
3. We will ask members in attendance to drop a voluntary micro-contribution in a collection box to help support a nominated ABS conservation project.
