Date: 18th July 2020
Meeting Point: The Venta la Vega
Start time: 9.00 am
Leader for the day: Frank Hair
Information about the meeting: We will meet at the Venta La Vega and members arriving early can get a coffee or even a breakfast! We will proceed to the area around Montejaque and bird until midday. We then gather back at the Venta la Vega for the Society’s EGM for an update on our activities, election of officers and reports from members of the Committee. If last year is anything to go by, many members will stay for an excellent lunch at the Venta. As an aside, the small stream by the Venta is a good place for Golden Oriole, Wryneck and of course typical birds such as Nightingale and Melodious Warbler.
Accommodation in the area: Look at the accommodation of our Affiliated Members in the region
Clothing and food: It will be hot so light clothing is recommended, but as always best to be prepared and bring a light jacket/fleece. Hat and suncream a must.
