Information about the meeting:

09.00h : Meet-up at Bar La Campana, Bonanza.

09.30h : Drive to the nearby Bonanza Salt Marshes.

10.00h : Birding in and around the salt marsh flats guided by Frank Hair.

11.30h : Relocate to the Chipiona fishing harbour.

12.00h : Visit the Little Swift conservation project (SGHN “Proyecto Culiblanco”)

13.00h : Drive to the Laguna de Medina lake area.

13.30h : Group lunch at the Asador Buffet Las Pachecas, A-381, 11400 Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz.

15.00h : Visit the Kestrel Hacking project (SGHN Proyecto Primilla) located at the nearby lake Laguna de Medina.

16.00h : Birdwatching and wildlife photography opportunities at the Laguna Medina lakeside guided by Frank.

18.00h : End

Clothing and food:
At this time of the year, it will be hot so hats and sunscreen with a flask of water.

Notes:

  1. We will ask a member to write a trip report for our experiences of the day.
  2. Members can invite guests, but they must join the Society on the day for insurance purposes.
  3. We will ask members in attendance to drop a voluntary micro-contribution in a collection box to help support a nominated ABS conservation project.
