Si vives en España y te apasionan las aves, por favor, ¡ayúdanos a crear un mejor "fórum" ornitológico! Aquí en Andalucia Bird Society queremos y esperamos hacer de nuestro foro un recurso valioso, y tú puedes hacer una gran contribución: únete a nosotros y házte uno de nuestros primeros miembros castellano-parlantes.

Hasta la fecha, la casi totalidad de la gente adscrita a nuestra sociedad es no-nativa y, mientras apreciamos sus inestimables aportaciones, nos encantaría que la gente española amante de las aves formara también parte de nuestro grupo.

Queremos que personas que tienen el castellano como lengua materna escriban sus notícias y/o historias en "la lengua de Cervantes", y nos parecería maravilloso poder intercambiar opiniones, información, etc , con la gente del país. Somos muy conscientes también de que tú puedes tener notícias que no nos han llegado a nosotros y, además, de que podrías estar mejor informado que nosotros sobre ciertos temas de conservación. Así pues, por favor, ¡únete a nosotros y participa!

Brown Booby Sula leucogaster
Huelva. A bird was seen from Juan Carlos I pier, Huelva, on 22.7 (Fernando del Valle, Mario Martín, Paco Chiclana).

Presumed Hybrid Western Reef x Little Egret Egretta gularis x garzetta
Cádiz. There was a bird within the heronry of Tarelo lagoon, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, on 1.7 (Paco Chiclana). This bird was seen again on 19.7 (José Luis Arroyo, Iván Sanmartín).

Royal Tern Sterna maxima
Huelva. An albidorsalis winter plumaged bird was seen at Juan Carlos I pier, Huelva on 25.7 close to a Lesser-Crested Tern (Carlos Gutiérrez Expósito). This bird had been photographed on 20.7 (Jose Gomez Aparicio) but had not been detected until it had been seen again.

Lesser Crested Tern Sterna bengalensis
Cádiz. On 7.7, two birds were seen at playa de Levante, Puerto de Santa María, close to río San Pedro mouth (Rafael García Costales). One bird was seen on 8.7 in the same area (Rafael García)
Cádiz. One was seen at Los Lances beach, Cádiz, on 8.7 (Javier Elorriaga). This or another bird was at the same place on 13.7 (Javier Elorriaga).
Huelva. Two birds were seen with a Roseate Tern and other terns at punta de Malandar, playa de Doñana, Huelva on 16.7 (Carlos Urdiales Alonso y Jose Gomez Aparicio).
Cádiz. There was an adult at La Jara beach, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, on 5.7 (Paco Chiclana).
Huelva. There was a bird at Odiel marshes on 1.7 (José Antonio Sencianes).
Huelva. Two birds were at Juan Carlos I pier, Huelva on 20.7 (José Gomez Aparicio). One of those (or another) was seen at the same site on 25.7 (Carlos Gutiérrez Expósito).

Orange billed-tern Sterna sp. c.f. elegans type
Huelva. The bird seen last month at Valencia and PVC ringed with a yellow ring was seen at Juan Carlos I pier, Odiel marshes, Huelva possibly with an unmarked juvenile on 25.7 (Alberto Savijn). This bird was seen again on 26.7 at the same site (Mario Martín, Fernando del Valle, Paco Chiclana) and it has bred in Valencia this year paired to a Sandwich tern producing one juvenile and it is the same seen at Huelva (J.I.Dies)

Roseate Tern Sterna dougallii
Cádiz. One unringed adult was seen at Cádiz bay on 8.7 (Rafael García Costales)
Huelva. One 1st summer to 2nd winter moulting and ringed bird was seen on 8.7 at Doñana beach, Huelva (Carlos Gutiérrez Expósito).
Huelva. One bird was seen with two Lesser-Cresteds and other terns at punta de Malandar, playa de Doñana, Huelva on 13.7 (Carlos Urdiales) and -perhaps the same bird or another- on 16.7 (Carlos Urdiales Alonso y Jose Gomez Aparicio).
Cádiz. There was an adult at La Jara beach, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, on 11.7 (Paco Chiclana).
Huelva. On 19.7 an adult was seen at Odiel river mouth, Huelva (Jose Gomez Aparicio)
Huelva. On 25.7 there were two adults at Juan Carlos I pier, Odiel marshes, Huelva (Alberto Savijn)
Cádiz. On 27.7 there was an adult ringed in both legs at La Tapa saltpans, Cádiz (Rafael García Costales).
Huelva. On 27.7 a different adult was seen at Doñana beach, Huelva (Carlos Gutiérrez Expósito)

Little Swift Apus affinis
Cádiz. There were 8 flying at Chipiona beaches on 3.7 (Paco Chiclana)
