¡Muchas gracias!

Cádiz The bird seen at Los Barrios, Cádiz from 4-15.11.2009 was at the same place on 15.1.2010. This bird had already overwintered the previous season 2008-2009 and it may well be a case of a resident 'former' vagrant (Javier Elorriaga)

The individual had left the Mar Menor coast to fish in a more cost/benefit favourable area: the irrigating ponds in the area, 15,39 km to the East of the initial site. Still there on 6.1 (Antonio J. Hernández). Seen again on 9.1.2010 midday at the 'new' place (Ana C. Narciso, Antonio Ceballos). Seen and photographed again on 11.1 (Richard Howard), 13.1 (Malcolm Palmer, Barry Chambers, Howie Eliott, Mary Brazier et al, 14.1 (Clemente Álvarez Usategui, Richard Howard) and 16-17.1 (Kris De Rouck; Eduardo van Boheemen).  Seen on 19-20.1 (Hugues Dufourny, Fabien Ruysschaert). Still there on 29.1 (Pablo P.).

Grant me the senility to forget the people
I never liked anyway,
The good fortune to run into the ones I do, and
The eyesight to tell the difference
